This week Aniboxx had the pleasure of running a crowdfunding training session at our Partner Phundee’s Crowdfund North London bootcamp.
Phundee is a crowdfunding platform that is specifically dedicated towards entertainment and arts projects.
They have nine categories which are;
- Film
- Music
- Art
- Games
- Dance
- Theatre
- Literature
- Fashion
- Photography
What is really unique about Phundee is that they put together a whole 8 week program for a set of crowdfunders, and this week Aniboxx’s Managing Director Jide led the training session on How to Create a Successful Crowdfunding Video.
In this session Jide began with showing some videos from successful creative industry crowdfunding campaigns, so that they could have an idea of what has worked well for campaigners previously.
Then Jide went on to explain 5 reasons why crowdfunding videos are successful:
- Remaining personable on camera
- Showing credibility
- Proof of a ‘moving bus’ (project in action/motion)
- Show footage of relevant environment/location
- Visualising the passion for the project
The crowdfunders were then told the ‘Script must do’s’ and introduced into the storyboard process.
It was a really great training session and we enjoyed giving these set of talented crowdfunders from Crowdfund North London some top tips and we’re sure they’re going to triumphantly exceed their target goal!
